Ben joined CRL for 20 years ago after a brief early career working in heavy civil engineering in Hong Kong.
Ben has successfully completed multi-disciplinary projects up to the value of £5M.  He has particular expertise in the conservation, restoration and cathodic protection of historic buildings. and says he enjoys the challenges presented by complex sites in Central London.  Ben has a calm demeanor, and an inclusive approach to contracts management that revolves around good communication and forming excellent relationships with Clients and the supply chain.
Ben has been heavily involved with the launch of CRL Restoration as a dynamic specialist Principal Contractor in the Heritage Sector, and led the teams who carried out the successful projects at Osborne and Reading Abbey.

Michael qualified as a Civil Engineer and after working on large civil projects specialised in the fields of Concrete Technology & Structural Rehabilitation. He has been involved with the inspection, repair and strengthening of concrete buildings and structures for the last 35 years, both in the UK and internationally.
Recently Michael moved into the heritage sector and now deals with the conservation and restoration of heritage buildings and structures.
Michael has a particular interest in hot-mixed lime mortars and concrete repairs to heritage concrete structures. He is a member of the 20th Century Society, the Building Limes Forum and SPAB.
